What Happens in Vegas...

It seems that the main things you can do in Vegas are:

1) Gamble - We stayed at the MGM Grand, which seems to be one of the biggest casinos in Vegas. The first night, I thought wow, this is pretty cool. Then we went to New York, New York and that casino looked exactly the same as the MGM, just with a different style of tacky carpet. Then we went to Planet Hollywood, and surprise surprise, they ALL look the same! There is only so much slot playing you can do in a smokey casino. At least the drinks were free.

2) Walk - We walked for many, many hours each day. At night there's just so many people, it takes you forever to get anywhere. At least I burned off some of the food I ate.

3) Eat - There are so many places to eat, it's not even funny. I am proud to say that we stayed away from all the buffets and only really indulged at the Cheesecake Factory! Mmm.

Chocolate peanut butter cookie dough cheesecake.

4) See Shows - We saw Cirque du Soleil and it was really good. It had much more "dancing" than I thought there would be and less "flying". It should be the other way around. We went to most of the little shows the hotels put on - I loved the Bellagio fountains, it looked like they were dancing. We also saw Steve Wyrick's magic show. It was awesome.. I dare say even better than the Cirque...

5) Shop/Night Clubs/Drink/Girls Girls Girls/Sign up for timeshares

BUT the highlight of the trip was taking a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Yes, it cost an arm and a leg, but when else could you fly in a helicopter over one of the natural wonders of the world? Definitely worth it.

  1. What happens in Vegas ends up on the internet!

Seriously, who doesn't love a town that has "Girls Direct to You in 20 minutes", lol.

When we were down in the canyon I really thought that crazy lady was going to fall and die, haha.
