Toronto's Distillery District

Today my parents and I ventured out to the Distillery District.
It was a perfect day (2 degrees Celsius in January??) for a walk. If you've never been, the Distillery District is a historic, pedestrian only village dedicated to culture and the arts. It's filled with heritage buildings that have been turned into shops, restaurants, and art studios. We stopped at Soma Chocolatier for some decadent hot chocolate. Oh la la, so rich and creamy.
The Distillery District is a nice little place to wander around for a couple of hours. Plus, it fulfills one of my 36 in 365 goals of exploring a new place each month! Bonus.
