Happy Easter!

I had a fantastic Easter weekend. It was just what I needed. Last week I hated kids and was ready to strangle someone. So, a four day weekend could not have come at a better time!

I feel much better after spending time with family and friends, and just relaxing. Here's what I was up to:

On Friday morning I got up early to see the little rugrats. They jumped into my parents' fancy bathtub and stayed there for almost an hour, playing with the lights and jets.

I helped them make some cookies while we waited for the rest of the family to come over.

Then we all decorated Easter eggs, played outside, and had a fish fry for Good Friday.

More bathing followed, then everyone went home and it was peaceful again!

On Sunday I went over to the States to celebrate Easter with my bff, M.T. and her family. I love that crew.

This guy is adorable. Look at that curly hair! He is so beautiful!

M.T. is amazing and worked her butt off, cookin' up a storm! It was so delicious, one of the best holiday meals ever to enter my mouth. I found out I love turnips a lot!

After that I went to my Grannie's house to visit for a bit before heading back to Toronto.

Somewhere else in there I managed to watch Marley and Me, eat steak and drink wine, go to Church twice, have a soup extravaganza, and fill up 3 photo albums for my mom!

I also realized that this weekend involved being around a lot of kids, but it's different when you actually like them.
