The Urge to Bowl

M's friend came back from his vacation in Korea and we celebrated by bowling. Don't you just feel the urge to bowl once in a while?

Do we have good form or what?

He brought us a Korean treat. Chocolate covered sweet potatoes. M thought they tasted like a Kit Kat. D agreed. And well, I like anything covered in chocolate so I ate it and didn't think.

I am not a picky eater at all and will try ALMOST anything once. I don't think I've eaten anything too weird though - no insects or live creatures. Two of M's friends ate live squid in Korea. I do eat any kind of sushi, which some people might think is weird, but that's quite tame in my opinion.

How about you? What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

  1. I'm not much of an adventurer when it comes to eating... the weirdest thing I've eaten is sushi and that's not even weird to me anymore. It looks like you had fun bowling.....

  2. As M can attest to - I am hopelessly Irish - meat and potatoes in any combination works for me - and thats about it!! Although I would try those sweet potatoes.

M has always loved bowling - I have some cute pictures :)

  3. M was telling us about "candlestick" bowling. It's another one of those maritimer things, I guess!

  4. Haha - tell M its 'candlePIN' bowling. And yes I like it much better than 5 pin. You actually feel like you've knocked down some pins when there are ten of them!!
