Great childhood memories!
It's funny the things you remember all of a sudden. Last night M and I were walking and saw a car pulled over by the police. This spurred memories of Saturday nights spent going to church then rushing home to watch COPS! That was the tradition! Kind of a weird mix of activities though, don't ya think? Do you have any interesting childhood traditions?
Do you think that tradition had anything to do with your brother becoming a cop? That's funny that you remembered that....
ReplyDeleteI remember TGIF nights at my house. My sister, two cousins and I would go to the store and by chips, candy and chocolate and spend the night watching Full House, Step by step, Boy meets world and Family matters. I loved those days. We had no cares in the world!!!

When I was a kid, Hockey Night in Canada was on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays. But Wednesday is a school night. In my house you were allowed to stay up late on that school night IF you watched the game. That's how I became a hockey fan. I'd do anything to stay up late :)
ReplyDeletethat TGIF line up was something we did at my house too! good times :)
